Jason Evert will be speaking at Holy Cross, Bay City, on Dec. 1 at 7:30 p.m.; Dec. 2, 1:30 p.m. at Holy Family Church, Victoria for students in 6-8 grades; Dec. 2, 6:30 p.m. at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church, Shiner for parents; and Dec. 3, 11:00 a.m. at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church, Shiner for students in 7-12 grades. His Chastity Project talk will be intended for 7th-12th graders. Parents are invited to attend.
He earned a Master’s degree in Theology and has undergraduate degrees in counseling and theology with a minor in philosophy from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. He has authored more than 10 books challenging young people to embrace the virtue of chastity; His books include If You Really Loved Me, How to Find Your Soulmate Without Losing Your Soul, and Theology of the Body for Teens.
After giving chastity presentations solo for over several years, he partnered with Crystalina. The pair married in 2003 and have spoken to more than 1 million teens on 5 continents, including World Youth Day in Spain and Australia. The Everts are on the Board of Advisors for the National Abstinence Clearinghouse and are frequent quests on radio programs. Their television appearances include FOX News, BBC, Donahue, WGN-TV News, and EWTN.
